IT WAS ANNIE DILLARD.
Sorry about the late post, everyone. I dropped the ball and missed
my weekly deadline. I'd like to blame it on a week so full of passion,
intrigue, and action that I just didn't have time to sit still
at my drafting table, but that's not actually the case. The truth
of the matter is that drawing these strips off of the computer takes
me a lot longer than I thought it would, and last week found me struggling
with the harsh, unforgiving reality of pen and ink. I'll work hard
to not make these delays into a habit. Thanks for your patience,
and thanks to the kitten and poodle fans that wrote in to let me
know how much my weekly strip means to them. It's always good to
get a friendly kick in the butt.
I'm trying something different now in regards to layout...Making
the art work bigger and giving it a little more room to breathe seems
like a good way to go, and moving any writing to the bottom gives
me plenty of room to ramble if I feel the need. Thanks for reading.
Ian.
