I had to start somewhere, and as much as I want to tell a story with an honest-to-god beginning, this is how things started. There's a whole lot to explain about how a beaver ends up posing as a housepet, and I'll get to all of that, definitely... just not in the most direct fashion. Besides, where's the fun in going from point A to point B? This is a less direct route, but there's much more to see...like traveling on a country road instead of a 4-lane highway.
